This Ghost Mask Transformed My Hair With Just One Wash (Before & After Pic!)

I have been on the hunt for quality haircare products with clean ingredients that work, so I was very excited when I received the ghost hair mask and ghost hair oil from Verb as part of a collaboration with Palm!

As my hair grows longer it’s becoming more challenging to keep healthy, especially the ends. I have been using all natural shampoo and conditioner for a while now and do a hair mask (either natural or DIY) at least 2x a week, which I truly feel help! So I had no trouble incorporating this hair mask in my routine and was really excited to see how it would work for me! Spoiler: It worked really well!

First impression:

This brand is so aesthetically pleasing! I loved everything from the box it was packaged, to the contents of the package, and the actual products. Everything looks so professional and I love the simplicity and transparency.

About the Ghost Mask & Ghost Oil:

The ghost hair mask and ghost oil are free of harmful sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, mineral oil, and gluten, and they are cruelty-free! They perfect for all hair types and textures and great for someone who needs extra hydration or wants to repair any damage or split ends. They are both safe to use on color treated hair as well!

The hair mask is a deep conditioning treatment designed to nourish, defrizz, and promote shine without leaving behind any residue or added weight to your hair. This product contains Moringa Seed Oil, which moisturizes, detangles, and smoothes hair to promote shine and Glycerin, which naturally binds moisture to hair.

The ghost oil is a lightweight restorative oil that revitalizes, strengthens, and smooths hair! This product contains Moringa Seed Oil, which moisturizes, detangles, and smoothes hair, Bamboo Extract to strengthen the hair follicle and retain moisture, and Argan Oil to enhance the elasticity of the hair while adding shine! This oil also helps smooth flyaways and frizz.

My experience:

Was amazing! I love that this mask can be easily applied in the shower after shampooing. I just wish I had the ghost shampoo and conditioner to use with it! Definitely my next purchase! The mask has a nice consistency, not too thick or too runny, and I really like the fresh, light scent. When applying it, it can easily be worked through the hair and it detangles while applying (it's that moringa seed oil!) This mask can be left on for five to seven minutes. My hair felt really silky while in the shower and even silkier out!

I decided to let my hair air dry a bit to see the difference am really happy to say that it air dried really well! Super soft, way less frizz, and definitely shinier! I used about 1 drop of the ghost oil on my almost dry hair before blow drying for extra heat styling protection. I used my blow drying wand to smooth and curl my ends and I finished off with 2 drops of the ghost oil which gave me a lot of extra shine! I was super impressed with the finished result! It looks like I have a brand new set of hair!

Overall thoughts:

This product definitely does what it claims! I haven’t tried anything else from Verb yet but definitely looking forward to it! I love that they offer a sampler kit on their website for $8. I'm definitely placing an order soon!
