After reading the words "botox in a bottle", I quickly went to amazon to pick up some DRAGONS BLOOD (and a cute Daenerys wig for this video!) I found the Dragon's Blood for $10.95, here.

Never heard of Dragons Blood before? While it does look a lot like real blood, this ancient ingredient is actually 100% raw croton lechleri tree sap and it's been used for centuries as a healing agent due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. There are records of it being used by ancient Greeks and Romans, as well as in India, the Middle East, and China.

About Dragon's Blood:

It's a dark natural plant resin that seeps from Dragon Trees when they are cut. It’s full of antioxidants and collagen repairing properties and has been referred to as “botox in a bottle” because it acts as a substitute for winkle fillers, regenerates the skin, and fights free radicals. However, it's most popular uses are to stop bleeding, heal cuts, wounds, scrapes, acne, bug bites and stings, cold sores, swollen gums, over exfoliated skin, sun burn, and many other skin problems.

To read more in depth about its antimicrobial, antidiarrheal, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, and anticancer benefits, take a look at Healthlines helpful article here.

Studies:

Studies have also shown its effective in treating fevers, calming upset stomachs, treating stomach ulcers, and healing digestive issues. In fact, right now it's very popular for digestive health. Due to the deep red color, it has also been used as a dye and varnish! I've also read a bit about it being used in spiritual practices including wiccan, hoodoo, voodoo, shamanism, and certain other folk magic rituals - going to dig into this a bit more because I'm curious now!

Suggested Use:

❶. internal: 1-3 drops in water, 2-3x per day

❷. topical: 5-20 drops in hand, rub to form paste, apply to area

❸. dental: 5-10 drops in water, swish 3-5 mins

Above is the suggested use for the Dragon's Blood featured in my video. This is a liquid form used for internal, topical, or dental treatment. Dragon's Blood also is available in powder supplement capsules and tinctures. I purchased this one to use for cuts, scrapes, and as an anti-aging treatment but depending on your exact uses for it, the form you would like to try may be different.

My experience:

I wish I could get past the smell and taste to try this out more! I can’t even describe the smell, it’s so different than anything I have smelled before! It's a strong scent, almost somewhat sweet but very natural smelling. I have only used it on pimples, tiny cuts, and scratches and it HEALS THEM FAST! When applied, it creates barrier over the skin to stop bleeding and speeds up healing. I really want to try this on my whole face as an anti-aging treatment so maybe next time I have a stuffy nose I’ll give it a go!

Mothers of Dragons:

Talk to doctor before using this product on your children or infants. However, I have read that this is great for your little ones! It stings a bit on cuts and scrapes but heals them so quickly! You don’t need to apply a lot of this, as you can see it’s runny and spreads well!

Soo.... Is it safe?

From everything I have read, yes, Dragon's blood is safe. There are no reports of side effects, overdose, or adverse effects from taking too much, but it’s still best to use it cautiously. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, it's best to consult your doctor directly to discuss Dragon's blood as a topical or internal treatment. However, there is no research showing it does not cause harm during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Make sure to always follow dosage directions on any product you use!

Overall thoughts:

Overall, Dragon's Blood has me curious! The fact that it has been used so long with great success really peaks my interest. I truly find the studies on this stuff so interesting to read and I am glad more and more are popping up right now. I’ve read in some countries it’s used for hemorrhaging and cancer treatments, as an antiseptic vaginal douche, as an antiviral for upper respiratory problems and stomach viruses, and of course for skin disorders! It is important to keep in mind though, that it hasn't been proven to cure, treat, or prevent any condition. The information within my posts was obtained through research I’ve done and I always encourage everyone to research these topics I talk about to discover your own thoughts and opinions on it. I am not a doctor and I do advise you to use your discretion before trying anything at home! I also encourage you to talk to your doctor about any serious health questions!

Thank you for reading - and watching!

SOOOOO…… WHO IS READY FOR #GOT TONIGHT?!

Also, here's the wig I purchased for $9.99:
